Ratings and Reviews
For those who do not like a challenge and do not find the cannons etc. interesting in the game then go get some rubbish labyrinth from the app store. I'm sure there's a lot but none will ever beet this. Not only is it a challenge and involve great physics simulation but making levels on the computer could not be easier. Those who are saying that there are levels in the game (not downloaded) where it is not clear how to get to the goal also do not like a challenge. Hello. That's how it should be! You're mind is meant to actually work when playing the game instead of just randomly rolling a ball about the screen. Overall it's an amazing game so don't degrade it's stars JUST because YOU think it's hard but look at the game as a whole. I have and I am still to find a downside to this incredibly addictive, never ending, perfectly programmed game
Best app I ever played
Labyrinth 2 is undoubtedly the best app I have played and deserves five stars! £2.99 is definitely worth paying because there are infinite levels (players create their own level packs and any player with wi-fi can download them).
Like some other players, I thought that the upgrade refused to load on the game. But I found that if you wait a few minutes, it does load! Patience is a virtue! You only have to wait for it to load once, so you won't be faced with waiting each time you play. It also seems that not all people are suffering crashed when updating, so it could be something to so with the device (it was fine on my iPod Touch).
Overall, there are very few flaws in this app and it will have you addicted like me!
Illusion Labs have done it again.
Labyrinth 2 is easily one of the best games I have on my iPhone. The original was a solid and addictive maze game, the best in the genre, then this one comes along and makes the last one look like the pencil maze games printed on the backs of cheap cereal packets.
They've really thought about how to push the genre and done a grand job. The pinball, arcade elements are spot on and the level design is excellent. There are tons to play from simple classic mazes to mental, chaotic designs which involve switches etc to change the level. It can be incredibly frustrating, but that's what makes it so addictive. I haven't had a go at designing my own levels yet, but this will surely offer a whole new level of entertainment.
