Commander! They’re here…

The Virus has gotten loose, and a large portion of the human race has been turned into mindless walking deads. Only a few of us has gathered enough supplies to barely make do on this zombie stricken land. Yet things only worsen as dusk approaches. We need YOU, Commander, to resist, rebuild and lastly to rekindle the dwindling flame of humanity.

The definition of humanity isn’t just survival, but to flourish, as soon as we regain our grounds, we need to take the next logical step. Rebuild.

Roads, city planning as well as the strategically placement of every building and infrastructure, these essential duty are on your shoulders, commander, may our city be productive and prosper under your command.

As much as we want to ignore this fact, but there are still people in the outside world at risk of being devoured by flesh hungering zombies at every tick of the clock. They can be anywhere, and we MUST help them, not only is it the right thing to do, but they’ll also be important members of our community, and eventually help us, in building, production and fighting off zombies as well as bandits.

Being isolated isn’t ever going to help the development, even if the world is over ran with zombies, and what’s the best approach to break the isolation barrier you ask? One word, Helicopters, Somehow in the midst of all the destruction, we managed to salvage a functional one, and it’s now at your disposal commander, use it well, so we may obtain and trade the resources in dire need for our survival, production and our future.

Throw back from mid 90s Command and Conquer that started the genre, not bad so far... UPDATE despite having 1 of the faster iPhone models even just having the timer activated makes the game slow down to the point once a chapter has been completed you end up with a pure white screen (must be racist!! Joke obviously) forcing you to close game down and re-open. Luckily unlike other games your progress isn’t lost and re-starting inserts you directly in to position post melt down. As for the large amounts of comments from people saying “just another army game” it was pretty obvious in the description what it was so why download and play?? That’s like saying “I downloaded a barbie game, I hate barbie” if you like C&C style games this will fill a couple of hours at the weekend only reason I’ve not voted 5/5 is the earlier stated problems with freezing/meltdown, iPhone chips are mostly the same, difference is mainly down to internal memory that Apple earn a fortune from when you see £100s difference for 10+gb extra when to can get 50+gb SD memory cards in its very irritating

Good game -minor problems

Overall good gameplay and quite fun to play. Although the main problem around the game is all about defence. Essentially if you have any half decent army size you can take other cities out with absolute ease. This may be the cynic in me if you turn up with 20k men which is relatively sizeable but by no means overwhelming, you can walk past a city wall with no casualties, take what you want, kill whomever you like and keep attacking to your blue in the face. Particularly as you can attack most levels of participant. This makes it tricky to enjoy at the middle to early stages and some real persistence to get to a point where you can really be a threat to others. For most attacks, the only tactic that works is empty the city of men, lay down arms against your opponent as otherwise you're doomed to have massive casualties costing you a fortune you just lost to the invader. Effectively making any attempts to defend against stronger opposition futile. The cynic in me says well you can protect yourself using a peace shield or teleport. You guessed it - it costs diamonds. Which costs money. Of course it does.

Money grabbing developers never fix issues or address them

Game was good in the beginning, the balances were correct etc. Now the balances are weighted poorly, packs you can purchase don’t realistically last very long and things like heroes development packages are rubbish as only give mediocre rewards/rubbish orange heroes. Now they open state immigration which was great. Our alliance did this only to discover we cannot move the actual alliance itself (states “coming soon”). This should have been the case to begin with instead of half arsed activities. Now our alliance cannot participate in the DD wars. Messaged the developers and no reply as per usual. So many issues that have not been fixed or corrected. If only there was some sort of ombudsman to report these to for poor service, poor technical support (especially with the log in issues with some glitches recently that locked players out of their accounts!) I would consider doing this. When you make a purchase ie state immigration (£4.99 UK) then you would expect to have the alliance able to move with you as per commanders needs. This is not explained at any point and no help is given. Becoming a rip off
