Enjoyable. But I have no idea what I’m doing.

Really like this game. DLed it almost on sight (after reading reviews on other platforms), and it is pretty instantly lovable. Madcap, hectic, blistering action. With swift access to a range of weapons / weaponry, 4 types of which can be deployed in any round.

Thing is, it’s sort of a two-channel feed you’re aiming at (ceiling / floor), but the action regularly gets so deranged that I have less than no idea if I’m doing anything productive.

Dying doesn’t matter - at all. Just fire up the next round, start up from the same wave. All progress (nearly all) saved. I just kinda feel as if I’m making more progress due to random death triggered power ups, than thanks to anything I’m actually doing.

Long story short - great little frantic game. Lovely. Engaging. But a big bewildering / random / hectic / semi-controlled.

Aliens Turret simulator

It’s basically that scene from
The film Aliens where they setup an automated turret in the corridor simulator but it does it pretty well. The game has great pixel art, great retro 80’s synth soundtrack and traditional old school style bosses to beat. The game is tough and your fingers will hurt after a while and I d think perhaps an update could
Include alternative control options. Or at least adjust the up and down controls so they’re a bit smoother.
