The spam has started...


I use this app as my carrier does not have visual voicemail and it works as advertised (this was the original selling point), however Libon now seem intent on ramming down my throat their 'premium' offerings in the app.
The number of notifications I get from the app now trying to get me to have my friends install it or buy the VOIP services is getting steadily worse and has me looking around at their competitors; I already use another VOIP provider and their rates are much better then Libon/Orange provide so I have absolutely no incentive to move to them.
From looking at the reviews on here it shows a fundamental lack of understanding of how to treat your customers on Libon's part and it looks like they will push a large part of their customer base to their competitors by this behaviour.
Libon's offering is not unique or particularly innovative (especially once WhatsApp start their VOIP/video chat services shortly) so they may want to get their act together or face some massive write downs.

Great but maybe room for improvement


A great piece of software which is only let down by its reliance on having a 3G or wireless connection. Most of the time this is not a problem, but when travelling overseas the cost of enabling roaming data charges to keep connected to your voicemail is prohibitive if there is no free wifi available. It would be smart to have an option of automatically forwarding the voicemail through to the user's standard voicemail if the server detects that the client is not connected. The client could also detect that a data connection was not available and automatically revert to standard voicemail service so that the message could be retrieved in the usual way. Obviously keeping a backup for future downloading once the data connection is restored. Beats o2s standard visual voicemail service and gives me the service that Vodafone does not.

Really Useful


This app is a lot more useful than the standard Visual Voicemail that comes standard with O2. I am with Talkmobile and I am now able to have Visual Voicemail - I also receive notifications that I have missed calls (even if people don't leave a message) from people even when my iPhone has been switched off or had no signal. I am only giving this app 4 stars as notifications seem to be cut off i.e. 'Oliver has le' instead of what I presume should be 'Oliver has left you a voicemail'. I hope this is fixed as soon as possible as I definitely recommend this app. Also I would like to be able to use this app on my iPad at the same time as on my iPhone, without being given an error message about upgrading to a new device. The app is also not designed for an iPad it runs in 2x mode.
