Minor bug fixes
This game has been given far too much criticism. I saw in on the xbox and was blown away by the creepy atmosphere and fluid graphics. Some reviewers have complained about the controls but once you invest a little time getting used it being ported to a "TOUCH DEVICE”!!. I don’t understand how anyone could reduce their review rating on that basis. As for devices not being supported it is stated quite clearly which are supported or not in the read up. From my knowledge of the app submission system - developers are limited to iPad / iPhone and iOS version number. So the system does not cater for ruling out specific devices yet. So stop blaming Playdead.
A thing of nightmares...excellent
Good game. It was creepy, not exactly scary and to be honest it tapered off towards the end. I hope there will be a second. The spiders were the best part.
As far as GUI, it was very well designed and the controls were intuitive. (I've noticed some people don't find them easy to use so; drag left/right to run in that direction and up to jump. To hold or enter an action hold down with one finger and drag relevant direction, that works for me. The fact there was no pause made it even more fun as there was no "safe" feeling.
A very good game, loved it. Just a tad too short and not creepy enough for the full 5 stars. Good work!
Can't Even Play It!
When downloading, they don't make it incredibly clear that its only for 5th Generation iPods, iPads or 4th Generation iPhones. I have an iPod 4th Gen. After blowing the £1.50 on this cheap scam, I open the game. And as soon as I do, a pop-up comes to the screen saying I do not reach their requirements.
Either all the people who were ripped off get their money back, or you make it available for 4th Generation. On other 5th Gen apps it stops you before buying it, saying you must have a 5th Generation iPod. On this it just takes all your money! I'm very disappointed, so fix it soon or give us our money back!
