Some technical information about Ulmon guides:
Map data is provided by OpenStreetMap – a fantastic collaborative open project comparable to Wikipedia. Hundreds of thousands of people worldwide contribute to create the most complete and up-to-date source of map and POI data. We encourage everyone to contribute! As map data quality may vary by region and urban area, please check www.openstreetmap.org for details. We regularly fetch updates from OpenStreetMap and deliver them to you free of charge.
Travel content is aggregated and compiled from open web sources like Wikipedia and OpenStreetMap as well as partner companies like booking.com and getyourguide. By aggregating and compiling this information, we aim to give you one central, easy-to-use repository of relevant information which makes it easy for you to find and enjoy the best places and things to do on your travels.

Great map very useful
Really useful with lots of great information and maps including the underground. It is available offline which is brilliant which has been a lifesaver when there is no 4G or you are running low on data but you need a map! I love this!

Great app, easy to use and accurate
A unique perspective and much more useful.
I previously reviewed this app, and whilst its changed slightly in a way I don't like, overall its still a five star app in my opinion.
This and the sister apps to this, like the Singapore city guide and the pro app called Citymaps2go are all very versatile for the casual traveler and explorer. This map in particular features a useful collection of places to visit, see, dine at and all in a off line application.
It also features a semi helpful underground map, that has become less useful over the updated versions. I like it in Version 1, where the underground map was exactly arranged to show the true distance between stops. Unlike the current version, which still is useful, but more like a hybrid version of the Transport for London copy written map design and the real distance maps.
Forcing you to have to work harder to make the decisions on journeys like Leister Square to Covent Garden by foot or tube. On the map it suggests its further than it really is. As in reality its the shortest underground journey on the network and quicker to walk between than to traverse the station to get a train.
So in conclusion, Get this great little app, its worth while as a guide and if you are going elsewhere on your travels, look at the Citymaps2go app by this same publisher. I don't work for this company, just like their products.
My old review!
Upon discovering this easy to use app (both online and off line) I found it a really useful tool for navigating around the city of London. One of the best and unique features is the use of the non iconic London Underground map. This shows you how close the stations are and is great in tricky situations like delayed trains. You can easily look for an other way to go, maybe even gauging how far it is between station on the map overlay.
A few days ago I was on a trip to Kensington Olympia and due to long delays, I looked on the app and realised it was 20 Minuit walk from Earls Court to Olympia. So instead of waiting for the hour delayed train, I walked and felt better after that.
A really useful app. Well worth getting. :0)
