Should you choose to upgrade to MVP, payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. The monthly subscription costs USD 5.99 per month while the yearly subscription costs USD 29.99 per year or USD 2.50 per month. Subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. There is no increase in cost when renewing.

Keeping me going!
I knew about Map My Run due to friends using it and posting their results on Facebook. I never thought I would use it. Thanks to a recent ad campaign I now run and this app is perfect. Easy to use, gives you all the information you could possibly want (for the casual athlete) with option to upgrade to the professional version. This app lets me know my time, distance, pace, elevation and that's all I need. It keeps track of my shoes so I know when I should buy a new pair and can be used for interval training, walking, cycling etc so it really is the only app you need. Map My Run also keeps a record of your training and gives you a weekly summary on what you have achieved so it's very motivational. I can honestly say this app keeps me going in my quest for fitness and so far I have lost 5lbs in 2 weeks thanks in part to this app! It doesn't cost anything unless you want to upgrade and therefore it's a real find!
I've recently decided to take up running again and have found that using this app is a great motivational tool- you get emails congratulating you on your workout, which feels great! You also get a weekly review which breaks down how many hours of exercise you did, how many calories burnt etc- really makes you feel like you want to keep on going! Maybe I'll get the strength to link it to my social media pages soon...

I have all sorts of apps paid and free but this one does what I need it to.
Maps with good tracking and the ability to see your times against the same course.
Works well when listening to music as well as you can set training announcement to suit your time and distance and it works well with Music, dimming it to announce over the top.
