The app allows you to plan journeys for now and any time in the future.

What's New in Version 3.2.20150910
We have introduced some new features. You can now change your settings to show distances in miles, send us an email to report damage at bus stops, rename your favourites and see icons for bus stops, train stations and ferry terminals
Rename 'How delayed will my bus be today'
All this app does is point out the fact that every single bus is late every day. I've waited for the 62 bus in bootle scheduled for 16:59 for over a month. Not once has it turned up. It always skips to the next bus. Why make a timetable if it's not going to be adhered to. ALL I WANT TO DO IS CATCH THE 16:59 BUS HOME SO I CAN GET HOME IN TIME FOR MY SPECIAL TIME!!
Journey planner, not timetables
This does include all forms of transport and it works well. There are two options: trips (typical journey planner using start and finish points) and departures (where you enter a start point and a time and it gives you all nearby departures). What you don't seem to be able to do is access the timetables directly, e.g. search for a particular bus route. Merseytravel produce very clear PDF timetables with maps and in some circumstances it's that quick overview you want in order to plan a journey, without having to enter specific times and locations.
