Accurate but Weirdly Designed

They finally let you jump directly to the forecast for a particular day of the week! Hooray! The app has been getting better over time and much of my initial problems (below) have been addressed.

___________

When I load a weather app, I expect a home screen which shows me what the weather will be doing in the next 24 hours or next week, but instead this app favours the next few hours at multiple locations. Also, knowing when sunrise and sunset are is incredibly important for photography, and a common, easily accessible feature on other weather apps. It's great that you can customise the home screen, but in reality most people don't need a national forecast, just a local one. The forecasts themselves are much more accurate than Dark Sky, which has become unreliable recently, but their user interface is SO much better!

One of the minority.

The Faithful Penguin

As a weather update it's pretty good. It's not always the most accurate and neither is it the worst. I suppose like people it has it's good days and it's not so good days. However I always keep it alongside 4 other weather apps to get a better indication of what the weather will do. If I think it will rain then I will open the brilliant Rain Alarm XL to see how close the rain is to where I live, will be travelling or where I am at the time.

My only real disappointment with this app is that it is always in portrait mode!
It's not a problem with an iPhone or iPod, but it's a real pain in the neck (due to health) with an iPad or the 12.9 iPad.

I wish you would have landscape and portrait the same as the majority of the weather apps in the App Store. It might be the difference between someone choosing your app or looking elsewhere.

I really hope you do add landscape mode to this weather app soon. I stay with your app hoping landscape will be added in the next regular update and so far I'm always disappointed.
I will keep hoping for another 2 to 3 updates... if there is still no landscape then I will delete Met Office as there are now so many other weather apps to choose from, I can soon replace Met Office or manage with my others.

Please add landscape soon.
