Pretty cool!
It's kinda like actually watching for meteors, since it seems to be entirely random in terms of frequency. It's been stable, no crashing out, and is great for showing kids how to look out for meteors ready for a shower!
It is, indeed, a simple, basic app which does exactly as described. Makes a good background use for iPad when doing other things - a little window onto a night sky where there are always incoming meteors!
