Description

Mobile Herd has been created by the Cattle Information Service to allow farmers and users to access animal data and record information on the go. A demo herd is also available via the app for non-milking recording customers.

With this App, farmers and users are able to view animal records, add events and add services.

An internet connection is needed in the first instance in order to synchronise the data from the CIS web server ‘Your Herd’, however it is no longer required once this process has been completed.

When information is added, it will be saved to Mobile Herd and will need to be synchronised again in order for it to be seen in ‘Your Herd’. Mobile Herd will prompt you when this is required. If desired Mobile Herd also allows you to synchronise data to the iPhone calendar to keep track of what events are occurring or due.

Mobile Herd is free of charge to all users.
