Ꮹameloft Ꮯontinue "Ꮃinning", as Ꮇr. Ꮪheen Ꮃould Ꮪay!

エn the beginning エ just considered Gameloft's games to be iPad's copy of the most popular console games and a 'acceptable', third-rate version to play in those times when you wanna' play but happen to be away. ie; NOVA: Halo, Gangster: GTA and ofcourse: Modern Combat: C.O.D. But now, years later, エ can safely say that 'Gameloft' are ALOT more than console-copy-cats and have REALLY made a name for themselves in the gaming world. If a game comes with the 'Gameloft' name then エ will definitely check it out at the least, plus if エ purchase a 'Gameloft' game then エ know it will be top quality, guaranteed! 'Modern Combat' is Gameloft's masterpiece and this 5th instalment is probably Gameloft's greatest game to date. It continues in the same manner as the previous Modern Combats, so if you have played any of the ×4 previous M.C's, which chances are you have, then you will know what to expect. The main differences are the increasing improving graphics, which has to be said are virtually the same as the original C.O.D games, and the multiplayer improvements (which I'm not the biggest fan of TBH). All in all, Modern Combat 5 is a fantastic game if you like FPS style games then you will NOT be disappointed. Ꮹameloft = winners and if they keep up their quality then エ will keep on playing/buying them.

My favourite shooter.

A bit late, but here's some advice for noobs...

Of all the modern combat games this is by far the best, in the multiplayer their are few players now and most are veterans, be aware of this, if you are coming from mc5, this game is way more skill based and the learning curve is very steep, if the multiplayer doesn't work for you then this has the most solid campaign, none of that split missions crap you have to spend ages downloading. If you are buying sniper get the first one, one hit in the chest if upgraded, sniping is very hard as the maps are not huge. Shotguns, if your a good quick-scoper, get the first shotgun and equip slugs, basically one hit damage, there are two really good machine gun secondaries I would advise using as primaries, I'm sure you'll figure out their names by how many times your killed by them, compact pro is the most expencive and broken machine gun, don't get it, get good. Grenade launchers, just don't, please.

Hope this helped a tad. Otherwhise sorry for waisting ur time

Ios 8 problem more than fixed!

I re downloaded this game yesterday and works fine, I don't think they have just resolved the crashing problem, I think the visuals have been enhanced. I noticed the on screen action looked 'busier' than before, and more environmental effects, transparencies in relation to the water and fog, smoke and reflections and a lot more particle effects. I cannot see that this is officially the case but I will be worth seeing if anyone else notices any changes from before, mc5 has definitely received a visual enhancement. I hope Gameloft can sort out the problem with Nova 3 that crashes on level 1 but is stunning without any further graphics added.
