Keep track of your mood on the move with the free Moodometer app from 2gether NHS Foundation Trust.

Moodometer is a discrete, portable and easy to use interactive mood diary which helps you monitor, understand and receive top tips on your emotional wellbeing, whenever or wherever you are.

Emotional wellbeing is as important as our physical health and the more we are aware of how we feel - be it happy or sad - the more we can start to take control of our own health. With millions of people updating Twitter and Facebook statuses with their feelings and moods every day, the Moodometer allows you to do the same but on a more personal level.

You can use Moodometer to:
• Rate your mood
• Track your mood using a 90 day mood graph
• Record comments in a confidential mood diary
• Monitor what influences your mood to understand yourself better *NEW
• Receive tips to help you improve and maintain your mood
• Access help when you need it most
• View the mood for your area and see how others around you are feeling

Help and support triggers
If you’re feeling down for longer periods, Moodometer automatically gives you options on how and where to get further help. These include short films, questionnaires, access to self help information and direct help from Samaritans and Mind when you need it most.

Regional versions
If you live in Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire you can automatically get direct access to services, help and support provided by 2gether NHS Foundation Trust when you need it most.
More regional versions connecting you to your local NHS are being developed – for more information, please contact 2gether.comms@glos.nhs.uk. If you would like a regional version for your area contact your local mental and social healthcare provider and let them know! Alternatively, you can let us know and we will contact them.
Moodometer is available for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

What's New in Version 2.0

PLEASE NOTE:
This update was uploaded to the App store at 11:30am on Friday, 6th May. All moods submitted before this update have been preserved, any moods submitted via the old version of the app after this will not appear when you update.

In order to retrieve your old mood data, you must visit the 'History' screen then your mood graphs will be accessible through the Analysis screen by rotating the device.

Simple but really good

I really like this app & try to put on one face a day so i can track my mood & see what effects it.
If i could make one suggestion: i love that it dates & times your entry but i wish you could set the date & time yourself, please if this is possible can you make it a feature so you can add a face retrospecively.

Needs improvement

Its a brilliant idea for an app. I have ocd depression anxiety and stuff so it really helps. But makes me very frustrated when it freezes and also when you can't record multiple influences for the mood. For example maybe you could tick more than one influence rather than only being able to select one?

Great app

Very good for helping pinpoint areas in my life that are causing stress and those that are not. It would be nice if you could write entries for previous days where I have forgotten or did not have time though
