Ratings and Reviews
The way iOS games should be made
This is the only review I have ever written for a game on iOS, but just had to add my two cents here. With so much mindless pay-to-win trash on the App Store it’s easy to feel like games on iOS aren’t really worth paying attention to. It’s a real shame, because it could be an extremely convenient and versatile gaming platform. This game proves that point. It respects your money and your time, it provides a great amount of depth without ever becoming too complex for a mobile platform, and it is perfect for extended gaming sessions or a quick race on your commute. It has great visuals and a well-executed sense of humor. The only thing I might knock it for are the optional micro-transactions which seem to buy power in the game directly, though they are not necessary to succeed. I would have liked to see some sort of paid DLC model implemented instead, but I understand those probably don’t monetize well enough in niche titles like this. For what it’s worth I am not typically a Motorsport fan or a hugely into sporting simulations, but this game strikes a great balance. Many thanks to the devs for their effort.
Such an awesome game
This is my first ever game review, which pretty much sums up why this is such an awesome game. I played the first version which was free and really enjoyed it - didn’t even mind that there were ads - but after reading some of the reviews for this game, I thought that it was worth the purchase and worth investing in a game developer that’s got a proven track record.
Firstly, the depth to this game is insane, there’s literally so much to do. I’ve played through about 7 seasons in a week and still going strong. The key to a good mobile game is to engage the player for a longer period of time, but with most other games you’re either put off by ads or you’re basically prevented from advancing without waiting half your life to complete a task. For the sake of £5, which is like one pint, you could save yourself about £50 by not going out and just playing this game. It’s literally that good and I’m not even really a fan of motorsport.
This game is absolutely perfect, I didn’t get much time on MM2 as I downloaded it only a few months before this but from what I’ve noticed this series of games is the best I have seen in mobile and console games. After winning WMC 2 times I purchased the bundle with the extra cash and game editor I can say that I am not at all regretting purchasing it
A few things that would be nice addition would be:
•Extra colours I notice the equivalent Force India in Tier 1’s pink is slightly different to the ones we have as a choice and I personally prefer that pink, the Toro Rosso car has a really nice blue-purple that would also look amazing as a choosable colour
•More invitational events as once you have done them all you know exactly what to do and what strategy is best, (although the endurance ones are harder).
•The Endurance management is a bit overwhelming, I find managing both cars is quite difficult as your drivers focus stat at the start is below everyone else’s so the pit stops are tight.
•some more tracks would be nice, while quite a big development to the game I think having 16-20 races in tier one would make the title fight loads better
