What's New in Version 1.0.6
-Potential fix for Henry Cohen never returning and characters repeating dialog
Good story well told
This is a great bit of interactive fiction, beginning when you pick up someone else's phone on the street, only to get involved in identity theft and phishing efforts on behalf of shadowy hackers.
The writing is excellent, with really believable characters and plenty of personality. The only downside - and I don't think this is a bug as other reviewers have suggested - is that you can get stuck in a loop if you make bad choices in your responses and the order of the responses. Frustratingly, this can set you back a whole day, as the chunks of story can be hours apart. Stick with it, though, and you'll be rewarded with a sharp, atmospheric and occasionally funny tale.
Great game, few glitches
I got really sucked into this game, I'd forget that I wasn't really interacting with these characters, the texting felt quite real! I really enjoy the telltale format and this is an interesting twist on that.
A few glitches happened which somehow reset themselves if I just waited long enough -a conversation would restart usually; the game seems to glitch out if you do things out of order of how the game expects you to.
At first, the dialogue would loop if I interacted with old contacts from previous parts of the game, I now haven't been messaged since before the new update except twice where the line was repeated 5 times and when I replied, there was and still is no reply for over 24 hours. Not to mention how Henry still hasn't came back after the update "fixed" the issue.
