It's also a great help when friends and family suggest books to you and you never know where to write them down and eventually forget.
"Every day you hear or read about a book that sounds interesting - and now there's an app designed to help track all those books recommendations," commented developer Giacomo Balli. "My Book List is the personalized book list of all the books you've been meaning to read, and those you've read."
What's New in Version 3.995
Now you can always manually add a book!
...also fixed minor bugs.
So far so good!!!!
It's a great little app straight forward and no frills. It does what it says on the cover, it lists books.
As for listing, there is no option list by date of publication yet. I hope this will be added to the list of options.
I also can't see that it has the ability to identify a books specific cover, hence trying to find the history path of a specific covered book is still down to additional research by the owner.
I noticed that when scanning or text searching, it often brings up multiple identical covers from the one title. However, you need to go in to each result to try and work out which one you're looking for. Could be better on these points.
On my wish list, I would like the idea of being able to identify which of my books are ebooks, hard back, first edition etc.
Still, for a relatively low cost app, it's pretty good at what it's designed for.
Its a great app but what I'd really like to see is a flag or some indicator on the main home screen to show which Books have been read, without having to open them? Thx
Barcode scanner an extra!
Looked good until you realise that the barcode scanner and sync is all extra! Would much rather have a up front price than stealth costs.
