Highly recommended for learning to manage thoughts and feelings.

I have been using this app for about 5 months now and its a great combination of a thought journal with the psycho education needed to learn how to manage thoughts and turn them into positive or less worrying ones that then make you feel calmer and happier. The daily thought diary means you can record the ups and the downs and you can track back and see what you were thinking and what you did about it which is confidence-building. The courses have great practical strategies for tackling your thoughts whether that is pessimism, fear or anger therefore, you also have a reference to go back to when you are feeling something to remind yourself how to manage the feeling. They aren’t too long and explained clearly and with enough examples to understand how to apply them. Over time you find yourself automatically using the new techniques to change the feelings more quickly so they don’t take a hold of you and just find yourself in a better mood in situations which would have previously stressed you out or brought you down. Highly recommended.

Thank you for being there in lockdown

I’ve been thinking I needed to do something like this for a while and I found it via the NHS website. Really has been a huge help to me especially around my thinking and making me realise I can manage it and change my mindset. During lockdown I really got quite low and anxious. I find the mood tracker great for making me see that actually I have more good days than bad and that a lot is linked to my hormones and certain times of the month. I drop in and out of the modules, and I like that I can do that. I’ve recommended it to several people who have all started using it and felt the benefit. I also love the cheery smiley face on the app. I want to thank you for making me see again that life is mostly positive and that I can control and manage when it isn’t.

Only mental health app I have enjoyed

I love the daily mood check ins, I’ve never been into journalling or anything but when my mental health took a pretty nasty turn I realised I needed to do something. Being really aware of my mood and being able to make links between good days and bad days and what I got up to on those days really helps me to make positive changes. I find writing down my thoughts really helpful. Some days it’s like a rant and helps get that negative cycle of thoughts out of my head. Other days it’s just acknowledging that I am in a good mood and happy and that’s so nice to look back on.

I have listened to a few podcasts and enjoyed those too. I’ve used the app for about a week now so still have lots to explore.
