I have been with Sky for many years, whenever I ring the staff are always friendly and helpful and I have found this app to be useful, clicking on the home button sends me through to my account and I can carry out most things via this, but the v.i.p. phone number puts me through very quickly and It is nice to know the person at the other end has enough info to treat me as a person rather than a number. I have read several negative reviews so thought I would add my good one. If you don't like Sky there are other alternatives but I personally think it is good value and the ability to watch 4k makes it a favourite in our house.

I've had Sky TV for several years and love Atlantic but as their engineers seem to be unable to install a phone line for Internet or offer reasonable speeds I have no choice but to leave. I've been paying over the odds by only having TV with Sky, necessitating two providers.
I was prepared to "try again" but no offer was made to reduce costs on having all three services, whereas Virgin Media have offered a price for all three below the cost of Sky's TV alone & I just couldn't refuse!
Sky Atlantic I will miss you..... but needs must & I am fed up of being "ripped off". Maybe see you next year, when I can start again at a reasonable cost with improved internet speed?

Foolishly we pay Sky over £100 a month to have had the Phone put down on me this evening (after I said calmly that their system was ‘bloody’ ridiculous) and been cut off 3 times for no apparent reason! I cannot link my mobile account to the Sky app and see my call billing and the message they texted me won’t open! They have charged me for roaming when they wouldn’t answer my messages from abroad but how much I don’t know as a result! The reason I said their system was bloody ridiculous was because I cannot link my mobile number which is apparently because it was downloaded before I had the misfortune to take out their mobile contract. As a result he told me uninstall and reinstall the app which I have done twice and STILL the mobile details are not there! What a farce, a bloody farce!!!
