Use with a little common sense
Don’t believe everything this app tells you. I set everything up as required paid the extortionate subscription fees ( only for a short while before the messed them up ) and was disconnected mid drive in the middle of a city I new nothing about. To top it off the “find my car” would not and it kept saying my car was being broken into when in reality the in car camera had fallen down . In correct readings, list car high subscription fees not what I would call a good app and to top it off the WiFi Services are being removed with no further information when they will be returned, not what I bought , THANK YOU VAXHAULL FOR wasting £18,000 of my money.
Reading a lot of bad reviews about this app and service but for me it has been the complete opposite. My car was stolen from outside my house the night and when I had noticed the car was gone I phone the police and onstar. Onstar managed to track my vehicles location, Disable the engine and they then informed the police were the car was. I got the car back the next day. Onstar basically done the polices job for them. Cracking service 👍
This app is not as comprehensive as the website. Sign in on the website and you have far more options. It maybe that I have a base model of the Insignia grand tourer, but more parameters are available through the website.
The app is ok for information on tyre pressures, where the car is parked, or if an attempt of theft had been made and fuel consumption.
The website has more comprehensive info on On star services, WiFi, and subscription options and additions.
