Now with Apple ARKit, the Very Hungry Caterpillar comes to life wherever you are. With Augmented Reality you can see the caterpillar and you can still see the world around you. Watch him appear in your living room, on your kitchen table, in your garden, or anywhere you want to play with him.
Hatch him from an egg, feed him tasty fruit. My Very Hungry Caterpillar will captivate you as he crawls around your environment.
Help him explore your world, or take a peek into his colorful toy box. There are lots of surprises to discover. Pop floating bubbles and watch out for the wind-up Grouchy Ladybug!

Fun if a bit overpriced
My 2yo daughter loves this app and constantly asks for it. The AR works well, the core idea is solid and the toys in the chest are a fun little extra. Just a bit expensive for how limited it is.

Frustrating....
After purchasing the previous non AR apps from this dev which my daughter loves I was really happy to go and buy this new AR version.
Have had this app for a a few days and only ever got it to work once. Just get the floating circles constantly. Followed all instructions of using on a well lit flat table etc... still nothing happens. Frustrated have paid for an app that does nothing.

Hi there. We're sorry you're not happy with My Very Hungry Caterpillar AR. If you are not seeing the caterpillar, but just see coloured discs, it's because the game is searching for a surface to place the Caterpillar. Try moving the device around slowly to help with location. The game is best experienced in a well-lit area with a flat, non-reflective surface, like a large empty table or tidy floor. If you tap on the green question mark at the top of the screen you'll find a list of tricks and tips. game for all ages
you would think this game is too scary for someone under the age of 15 but from my experience it’s great for 13 year olds too!! great game, no flaws, such an amazing experience! really gets u ready for life as a parent or guardian!
