MyAviva is the simple way to view and manage your insurance, savings and investment policies in one place, whether you’re at home or on the go. If you’re an Aviva customer and you’ve registered with MyAviva online, just enter your details in the app and set up a secure PIN to log in. You’ll even be able to use Touch ID to access your account quickly and securely.
Once you’re logged in, depending on the policies you have you’ll be able to:
- View insurance cover and renewal dates
- Access policy documents
- Find out how to make a claim
- View the value of your Aviva pension and investment portfolio
- Get access to existing customer offers

Should be no stars
Since the time this app used to work there have now been several 'bug fix' versions which do not get any further than a pop-up saying 'We are having problems logging you in. Please try again later'. I note other reviewers have been having similar problems and my iPhone SE is a fairly standard phone so I won't have Aviva waste my time any more with the Aviva stock answer making personal issues out of global problems pointed out to them. This app would still get no stars, but just like insurance companies, the Apple programming forces users into options which aren't correct data to proceed. I note however that some people are rating this highly enough for Aviva to at least match the TSB app for stars. Given the problems also in Aviva keeping my personal data unchanged on its website, I have begun to wonder how many people are there at Aviva who are faking it in IT.
I’m sorry to hear that you are still experiencing problems accessing your policy information. We are aware of some problems with our internal systems, which mean that retrieving policy information for some customers is taking longer than usual. The MyAviva app displays the error message you detailed after a period of trying to access so that the app isn’t constantly attempting to load the information.

What’s happened to MyAviva
When I initially took out my policies with Aviva, one of the things that drew me to the company was the ease at which I could update my basic personal details on the MyAviva app and website.
Why is it that I can no longer update these details?
Since setting up my policies, I have moved house and would like to update my address on my MyAviva profile. The app no longer allows me to do this. For the past TWO MONTHS I have been calling Aviva advisors and IT departments, only to find that no one has any idea how to update my profile address details. My issue has been reported to Aviva IT departments THREE TIMES. Each time, I have been told the IT departments would report back to me... NOTHING. I have even submitted a formal complaint to Aviva. A WEEK later, I still have had NO RESPONSE to this complaint or resolution to what should be an extremely simple fix.
Unless Aviva fix this issue and this app, I will have no choice to report my deep concerns to the financial ombudsman. I have explored all avenues and simply feel I am being ignored.
I’m writing this review as I at least see that the developers respond, which is more than I have had from Aviva over the past two months.
Please, please fix this issue.

Great for pension management
I find this app easy to use, with it providing the information I need to manage my pension. Sometimes the service is “not available right now” but it doesn’t occur that often to bother me that much.
It would be great if we could receive a notification when a payment (via salary) is received, rather than me having to login to the app every day in the first 1.5 weeks of the month; I like to analyse my pension with a more detailed spreadsheet, so I take a snapshot of all fund values and input
on the day each payment lands. Thanks.
