Registered for mybarclaycard online account servicing? You need to use the same login details to register for the mybarclaycard app. If not, you can still register using your card details instead.

Are you a Barclays customer?

If you’ve got a Barclays current account and a Barclaycard it’s best to use the Barclays Mobile Banking app where you can see both accounts together. The mybarclaycard app will only show you details of your Barclaycard account.

Great app but.....


Find the app really easy to use. Convenient that my credit score is calculated for free and automatically updated every 2 months. Also they will
Notify me through emails well before my payment date. Credit limit can be increased and decreased, personal details can be edited, PIN number can be viewed through the app also, which is handy if like me purchase aren't what I usually use the card for. As other have stated, when I make a payment, it doesn't update for a few days, so will still show as payment due. I pay mine through direct debit so I just check through my own bank, and I know the payment has went through when it has left my account! Apart from that, I have no faults with the app at all, and actually find it really good, can organise everything through just that app, no need to phone anyone and waste time! Also I will sometimes receive notifications of offers like money transfers and balance transfers which can be set up through the app within minutes. Honestly no complaints here! 😀

Better than before but still messes up my payments


This app is better than it was. I like that I can now view my statements although it’s help and contact facilities are rubbish and it’s FAQs don’t address the issues I have with the app. Two or three times a year is messes up my payments. It only lets me pay a balance that doesn’t match the amount needed that month. Usually it messes up by only letting me make last months payment amount again. Which means if it is larger this month my full payment can’t be made and they charge me interest on the remainder or if it is smaller it won’t let me pay at all because it is over what the page wrongly thinks is my payment amount. When I go to my statement page I can see the correct amount but the payment page won’t let me pay it. I have found work around by using the specified amount box but usually I have to phone up their expensive call line to make my payments when this happens. After years of this happening I am getting really quite annoyed as I reported this bug to them years ago. It happened again this month and the FAQ and contact pages still don’t help me. I’m not a happy bunny!

App is handy but falls short short of others


The app is good as a mobile portal but it lacks real time updates. My current balance and payment balance are always 2 different amounts. I like to clear my card each month however, the front end screen shows the accurate balance but the payment screen doesn’t reflect that and each time I go to pay in full, it tells me that my account cannot go into credit.
I have sometimes waited weeks before the balances match up yet if I go into the web portal, it’s more accurate. Very strange.

I have a monzo card to use when on holiday and every time I spend, the balance is updated almost immediately.
I think Barclaycard need to invest a little more in their IT to give this 5 stars.
