"This app, however, is nothing short of brilliant, easy to use and printing sensible labels."
"This app certainly takes the pain out of producing your Christmas and other lists. A lot of thought has gone into this truly excellent product."
"This is a superb program and does what it says simply and efficiently. The developer responds promptly to suggestions. Importing Contacts works well and changes are instantly carried through. My cards have never been sent out so early!"
"I love how this app has streamlined addressing my Christmas cards!! Thank you!!"
"AddressLabels delivers an extremely effective way to manage card lists which means the ability to easily compose lists from your Contacts, get the labels printed, and keep track of cards received and sent! Add the ability to manually enter list members, assign nicknames, select from multiple addresses, intelligent handling the country portion of the address, accommodate a large range of label types, AirPrint directly or produce a PDF of the labels, clone new lists from existing lists, all wrapped in a visually pleasing interface. Winner!"
"I hate addressing my Christmas cards. This app made it very easy to make labels. I don't have a printer that works with my iPad yet, so I really appreciated having the capability to send them as a PDF to my email address. The app is awesome..."
“Just what you need at this time of year - a reliable self updating list to speed up sending out cards. This is the 3rd or 4th year I've used it and it just gets better and better.”
“After years of tearing my hair out trying to get labels out of my iphone/iPad/iMac combo, an app that actually does what it promised!”

What’s New

Version 7.86

An earlier version of Address Labels showed the label borders on the screen preview. This should only have appeared on the screen preview, but unfortunately some people were also seeing the borders when printing their labels. At that time, the feature was removed.
The feature is now being re-introduced and hopefully will work better now i.e. will only show the borders on the screen preview.

From a non-techy 80-yr-Old.

Been hunting for ages for a suitable address book/Label program. All have fallen short of my requirements in some respect. This, I think, is it! I find it so quick, intuitive and easy to type in. A lot of detail has clearly been thought about, and incorporated. My rating is one star short of 5 only because I haven’t yet tackled the label layout, nor the program’s printing performance. I anticipate, though, that here will be the absent star! The extra box is so helpful for odds and ends/ names of children etc. And I’ve opened a parallel file for landline/ mobile phone/ email addresses. My iPad now provides me with an instantly accessible reference to over 300 friends. Just one thought for UK users, and our system of postcodes: it would not be beyond your genius to provide some easier way of typing in our system of upper-case letters and interspersed digits. Thank you. Dennis. P.S. 5-star, definitely, after faultless label printing, and continuing use of the programme over the past two years. Any thoughts on postcode entries, re comment above?
Now a non-techy 84-yr-old. This program has been well put through its paces for a number of different uses. I cannot fault it. *****, thank you. Hope to write again when I'm 90!

Developer Response ,

Thank-you so much for the great review. I am glad the label printing was a success.
Your idea about postcodes is great, but not as easy as you might think.I would love to chat to you about it, so please email me on support@ios.addresslabels.app to discuss it.
Happy New Year

Fantastic!

I very rarely post a review for an app but this one really deserves it. I also dont usually pay for apps but at just £1.99 it was worth the very small risk, especially having read some of the reviews.
So pleased I got this for sending my Christmas cards. There are lots of different options to choose from label sizes/numbers, fonts sizes and colours, position, information etc etc and Ive only just started! Having typed in the names and addresses of the people I will be sending cards to this year, I have just printed out the first page having added a Christmas picture to each address label and they are perfect!
Once you have set up your lists, they are saved and you can amend them, add to them, delete, change pictures - marvellous. Exactly what I was looking for and more. Highly recommended!
I used Avery labels L7160 and an HP Envy 4520 Air printer.

Developer Response ,

Oh that is so good. I am so happy to hear that my app has worked so well for you.
Thank-you so much for the great review 😀
Happy Christmas 🤶🏽🎄🎅🌲

Microtis ,

A super little app!

After years of struggling to mail merge selected Outlook contacts address data on to mailing labels, this little app that works straight off your IOS device makes it so easy! I have used it for the last four years, primarily to produce Christmas Card labels.

I value the ability to copy selected contacts from my phone and to start a new list by importing the previous year’s. I also like the ability to make notes and record cards sent/received etc. There is also a useful and comprehensive help facility available online.

Although the app does everything I require, it is fairly unsophisticated. It is for example slightly unsettling to select ‘Cancel’ after completing an edit operation in order to return to the previous level.

I am also a little worried about the interaction / synchronisation with IOS because this year I discovered a lot of my Contacts address fields had been duplicated. Also, some Contacts entries had been replicated with older data - presumably garnered from the imported previous year’s card list. I guess part of the problem is that if I significantly modify a contact (eg say to delete the name of a recently-deceased partner), how does the Address Label app decide whether it is an existing contact or a new one?

I have not examined any other label-printing apps recently but there do seem to be a lot more out there now.

Developer Response ,

Hi - thanks for for the review 😀 I am glad it keeps working well for you. I haven't heard any other reports on duplications etc. so I would love to talk to you about it if you have time. If so, please contact support@ios.addresslabels.app and let me know that you left this review. Thanks and Happy Christmas 🤶🏽🎄🎅🌲
