Improved easy access
Great addition to the Immersun family in viewing solar PV generation and house electric consumption data.
After following instructions on 4eco's remote monitoring service status webpage; updating firstly the bridge firmware, then the immersun firmware, then installing the app; all is working as expected with a very simple/clear user interface.
As yet, I am unable to see previous historic data prior to current day, but I am sure that this may appear over time.
Further to this review; I have now found how to access previous day/week/month data; user error on my part.
Well done 4eco.
Flakey and intermittent
Hmm. Where do I begin? Let's start with the positive. A nice looking app - albeit with tiny fonts - which gives all the data and metrics you could possibly want. The historical data is all there and presented nicely.
But, the problem is that all this pretty interface is only as good as the connection, and that is where it all falls apart. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. And indeed, that was my experience of accessing my Immersun through their website, too. Sometimes it just works, but most of the time it doesn't.
So as nice as it is to stare at lovely looking graphics, if the data isn't correct and constant "Immersun didn't respond" dialogues keep appearing, is there really much point?!
I was an early adopter of Immersun way back in 2012. The sole reason I upgraded the hardware in 2015 was to get this remote viewing capability. Worth the upgrade? No way.
I'm curious as to why some people on here say this app is good. Do I perhaps have a dodgy remote bridge?
Disappointing. A word, unfortunately I seem to use a lot when it comes to all things Immersun...
Been waiting for this
Would prefer the bar for usage/diversion etc rather than the spiders crawling along the line graph for week/month data. However it is much quicker & easier than having to go to the webpage on your phone. Had to put in user name etc every time that method. This is easy to understand & looks good too. Well done.
