Wonderful new worlds
I have been using this for several years. This is far more than an inexpensive app which is reliable; it is a gateway to a new world of listening which has almost entirely replaced my conventional radio listening. I am an avid radio listener and with smart speakers and Apple AirPlay, radio apps are transformative. I listen to classical music and jazz and my particular joy is being able to listen to New York’s calming evening schedule as my daytime listening. There is little jazz on UK stations and French and US jazz stations fill this hole.
UK stations now no longer available in the UK (updated review)
Update: well, the UK stations are back but now lots (but not all) non-UK stations have gone missing again.
It’s not as if I’m generally looking to listen to current commercial music from elsewhere, many of my favourite stations are playing “old time“ US programs such as Dragnet, etç.
What’s more, the implementation is inconsistent – I do have a small number of modern, albeit rather obscure, non-UK music stations in my favourites list, a couple of which I can still play while others are now barred.
Really sad that what was previously an excellent app has been ruined. I guess I will have to look for a new app.

Previously: Since the latest update (12 November) the situation in the UK has changed - again… Before this latest update I could listen to UK stations but not anything else - not good but better than nothing. But after this latest update I can listen to everything BUT the UK stations, even though I am in the UK. Like others I really like this app – much better than some of the other so-called leading radio apps. But something has gone seriously wrong over the last month or so. Dear developers, please sort it out - I would love to have this app back and working for me but at the moment it is unusable.

Update has Restored Functionality
Just updated to the new release of the app and my favourite stations are working again. I had previously left a negative review due to a previous update rendering it not possible to stream some USA stations that I listen to frequently. Now that the app is working for those stations again I feel a 5 star review is once again merited. I like this app, use it daily and recommended it to many people. And I’m relieved it is working for me after the latest update.
