Love App, customer service terrible

I love the Very App, it's quick and easy to use and the click and collect is great for me as I live in a secure building which proves difficult for deliveries..
I know this review is meant to be about the App, but I can't help knock stars off for the customer service received not just when calling to make an enquiry but also from the outbound sales callers both of which I have received disgraceful service from..
The app I give three stars, however I would suggest the option to request a different delivery address when click and collect is not available so that I don't need to call and be told your item is out of stock when Hoover have clearly told me my item is ready for delivery they just need direction from Very and as such I had to do your job for you.. And then when called by your outbound service to ask 'if I'm happy' when clearly they want to sell me insurance to then be rudely hung up on when I express my concern as to the way my delivery was dealt with, then this option would take away the need for pointless phone calls.. I completely understand security is paramount, but as a customer when placing an order as long as I have passed your security checks then my option for delivery should be acceptable to go to another address..



I use the app all the time its easy to use and i love the fact I can use my fingerprint to log in as I hate having to type in details all the time. However I haven't rated it five stars because you cannot see where you are with buy now pay later products. I found this out (nearly to my cost) after purchasing a iPad for my daughter for xmas. I knew the item had been paid for in full but was charged interest at the end of the buy now pay later period. To be fair to very I emailed them explaining why I thought I had been unfairly charged and they refunded me without a problem, but I feel this wouldn't have occurred if buy now pay later products were clearly shown in the app, as this was the only way I shopped and checked my balance when I first downloaded the app. overall the app is worth having at your fingertips for a quick easy and convenient shopping experience.

Basic app terrible customer service


The buy now pay later option is great and enables me to buy things without too much of a worry. However on more than one occasion I've had the wrong order sent. For example most recently I ordered a stereo and had a vacuum delivered. Of course I didn't accept the delivery. Trying to rectify this is nothing short of a nightmare. Calling customer service is a waste of time. After 5 minute on hold I was cut off and had to recall only to be connected with an advisor that clearly had no intention of making my situation any easier. After a short argue I had to end the call and leave for work. I have still not received my stereo and still have the £159 charge on my account. So Very, sort your customer care and delivery out and I couldn't fault you but as I don't see that happening I wouldn't recommend.
