Good app...but needs improvement
I've been using this app with my unitiqute 2, iPad mini and a WD mycloud NAS for about a year and a half. Firstly let me say that I really enjoy the experience of listening to music and being able to select what I want to hear from anywhere in the house, and in the main I think the app does a fairly good job...but there are annoying little issues that need sorting. It creates ghost tracks, it renames artwork, it reorders some tracks within some albums in alphabetical order! But the main issue I have is that when I want to listen to random tracks, it will only create a playlist of 500 tracks from the start of my collection, meaning that I never get to hear the thousands of other tracks I have! This seems bizarre as my little Cowon J3 can do it. So come on Naim, sort it out and create the awesome app your equipment deserves.
Great app but it's not quite as flexible as Sonos
Naim makes undeniably the best wireless speakers however they should be looking at Sonos and at least try to compete with them. Offering Tidal was a step in the right direction but let's face it, no one really cares about Tidal (not even Tidal judging by their overpriced limited offering). Where are Apple Music and Google Play? Both of those services have APIs and considering that Apple actually sells Naim Mu-So why not work with them to get the software up to speed?
Other than that one little pet peeve, the software is rock solid and I've never had a problem with the app crashing or not responding. Oh and maybe you should move the off button to a more visible location rather than hiding it in a menu :)
Great wireless speaker but app keeps crashing
Every single time I want to use the app on my iPhone keeps looking for new room and then can't find it does since they updated the app which is annoying having to reset the speaker to pair up with my phone then it takes forever to pair it and it takes quite few times to get it working otherwise speaker it's great but they need to fix this issue with the app or the pairing up or air play another thing it needs some different sounds listening like bass or rock or rnb
