Zero stars

Naim make some of the world's best HiFi, with prices to match. However they have made a poor app even worse with the latest updates. The app cannot consistently find the Naim components stored under "rooms". This is an intermittent problem so difficult to find the cause and solve it. This means playing music is not possible. The app crashes often and cannot work consistently on different devices. Nor can two devices be connected at the same time, causing a search for the device that was last connected, assuming it hasn't crashed first. In desperation I tried to delete the app and reload it in the hope of solving the problem. This action deleted all my playlists, which had taken me weeks to build up. There is no way to save and backup the app generated playlists.

As the Naim streaming devices need iPads and iPhones to work effectively this is a serious problem. We have no choice but use this disastrous piece of software and it turns tens of thousands of pounds of Hi Fi into a frustrating and embarrassing experience, especially if you are demonstrating it to friends and guests. Naim really need to get on top of this as it is seriously damaging their brand image.

I had to give it one star because zero stars is not possible. But it is only worth zero stars for turning a superb HI Fi sound into an embarrassing joke.

Was working until this update

Still refuses to connect to my Unitilite via iPhone 7, iPad Air or iPad Mini via update 26th August, please fix this I am losing patience

Been working fine with my iPhone 7 & Unitilite. Now unable to connect since last update. Same old story as below!!

This has been working reasonably well until this last update. No it wasn't perfect, it was very glitchy on an i Phone 6 constantly losing connection with my Unitilite, but.....
Now this version constantly disconnects itself, both on the i Phone 6 & i Pad Air & will not easily reconnect. I have to delete & reinstall it before it will reconnect. Not very happy

Very poor

After some effort I got the app to work for a time but it has just stopped working on my ipad though the old green app still works on an old ipod. I tried deleting the app on my ipad and reinstalling. But no success. It seems appalling that the app continues to assume you have the new dangled mu so (or whatever the daft name is) and doesn't recognise my Uniti. There must be lots of people with older devices. I spent ages trying "manual" configuration to no avail.
