Unreliable app and Transportation Company
I bought the ticket to Stansted Airport through the app on the day I'm going to travel. It shows that passenger should arrive 10 mins earlier in case the couch comes. However, I wait for one and a half hours still couldn't see the missing couch. Although the app has couch tracking , there is no information, no estimation departure time, no staff around the stop, just nothing at all!! I tried to call for help, but there is no number showing on the app or their website. Also, there are no information telling what is happening on A7 line on their app& website's homepage! Even now I'm writing the review, the GHOST COUCH still not arrive (already 2 hours past), and other passengers and me need to search other way to the airport, because we don't want to miss other flights!!! I think I will NEVER use this app and take National Express in my life. It wastes times and money for no reasons. Just suggest to the people seeing this review, if you want to arrive airport on time, never choice their couches.
App is good but the extra £1 for every booking is unnecessary
I gave the app 3 stars as I believe that charging an extra £1 for every booking is a daylight robbery. Buying the same ticket from Trainline would not incur this extra charge. What’s not making sense here is that with Trainline you also print a paper ticket which adds to their cost, such as paper, ink, printing machine investment and the running costs of maintenance and electricity. Using this app cuts all that cost to get the ticket and yet we are still paying £1 extra! Yes, it’s robbery, even if you label it as ‘booking fee’ to male you compliant with the laws...the customer is still being overcharged unnecessarily.
The rest of the app so far seems to be working well, bar the obvious required updates which get overlooked every time.
Good Service and App
The App is fine just take your time with it to get used to it. Rubbish in and the you get rubbish out.
The bus service is also good and I use this service approximately 8 to 10 times a year between Stansted, Heathrow, Colchester and Ipswich.
A special mention for the very professional drivers as they almost always reroute the service to avoid traffic jams but never miss a stop.
I would have given 5 stars but the £10 charge to change a bus in case of early or late arrivals is excessive. The extra cost (if used) puts it above the Stansted car park charge for short trips even taking the cost of fuel into account.
