Description

*** THE ORIGINAL - NetworkToolbox ***
***USERS SAY ITS BETTER THAN FING ***

The space here isn't big enough to list all features.

Read the Manual at: http://go-to.me/nettb-manual

This app rewarded "Best of the Year" in 2013 by PC Magazine and is still the best Network App on the App Store.

Users say: ‘Better than Fing and Deep Whois!’ : I’ve been using a number of other apps like Fing, Deep Whois, etc … but then I found this app. It includes a whole raft of network utilities, including some not found in other apps…

EVEN FOR INEXPERIENCED USERS: THE APP CONTAINS DEMO VIDEOS, HOW-TOs, GLOSSARY

This App with its 32 individual Tools helps to analyze local or public networks for security issues or wrong configurations.

It provides various scanning options such as WiFi Network IP scanning, Port scanning and integrates the SHODAN scan engine, Security exploit tests and more.

Results can be further analyzed by opening IP Addresses or Ports with one of the tools provided by this app.

All tools are tightly integrated so you can easily jump from one tool to another.

What's New in Version 9.02.03

- iOS 10.2 compatibility
- Some bug fixing in the device Tool (e.g. crash in Device Tool fixed)
- Some UI improvements

I am glad that this update is now available before Apple closes for the Holidays and I am glad I finally found a solution to show MAC Addresses again (caused me some more gray hair and some long nights).

Thank you so much for all your reviews. It was overwhelming to read them all. Unfortunately they are now gone with this update but I don't want to bother you again asking to update your review.

To all of you, have relaxing and secure Holidays.

Thank you all and let's work together for a more secure 2017!

All the best, see you in 2017.

Marcus

Customer Reviews

Brilliant full featured app

By far the most complete collection of network utilities available in a single app on iOS, an indispensable toolkit for anyone into tinkering with networks.

Indispensable

Definitely the best single network analysis/security app available in the Store.

Stunning

The latest version of this mature app came as a surprise: I didn't think it was possible to improve on it, but that's just what Marcus has done, and not just with new tools; in line with Apple's design philosophy, Marcus seems to have anticipated everything you might want to do and how you will use the app, and then designed in the relevant features.

I knew nothing about networking a couple of years ago before I started using this App and it's fair to say this app has taught me most of what I now know.

If I were allowed only one app on my iPhone, this would be the one I'd keep.

I have tested several other network-scanning apps, but Network Toolbox is by far the one I prefer. It, for example, allowed me, in less than 2 minutes, to gain access to my neighbour's router and to show him how insecure his system was. I even told him what his passwords were, much to his surprise.

You don't have to be a 'geek' to use this app; in fact, this app is a wonderful tool with which to learn more about networking, Internet protocols, ports etc. The notes and resources are extensive; I'm sure that even knowledgable network administrators will learn things they didn't know before from this app.

The price really does not reflect the value of this app. And the app just keeps on getting better with more and more features and really helpful information, tips and video tutorials. And the developer, Marcus, is always extremely generous with his free time, replying in great detail by email to any questions or observation or ideas you have.

Marcus' policy is not to have in-app updates; you pay once and get all the updates at no further cost. The enhancements to this app since I first bought it have been so great, I would willingly have bought it several times over. (The same goes for his Electronics Toolbox, which is like Aladdin's Cave: just full of treasures chests waiting to be explored.)
