We were busy over the holidays with working on new features and fixing some annoying glitches. We’ll be rolling out these gradually over the next few weeks:
• We fixed the annoying glitch where the category jumps back to the top of the page.
• We’ve now got recently viewed items and categories. Just scroll down to the bottom of the homepage and jump right back to where you’ve left off.
• Ever wondered if your favourite items are available in a store nearby? Try our new Find in store feature; just select the colour and size, add your postcode and see in which store they are available.
• Seen something you like and got inspired by? Try our new Visual Search and explore what we have to offer by using your own photos or screen shots.

Much better but still lacking ...
I deleted the New Look app a while ago because it was so awful and user unfriendly that it was pointless having it as it was impossible to shop. So seeing that it had had an overhaul, I thought I’d give it another try. This version is a VAST improvement on the previous one but there are still issues. It seems to slow down quite quickly (I used it for maybe 10-15 mins before it slowed down and eventually crashed). And while I’m glad to see the return of the wish list function, topping it out at 24 items and not warning the user before simply removing the oldest-added item in the list is just ridiculous. I use this function on other apps to add everything I like at first glance and then go back and edit it into a list of things I might actually buy later. My list for Topshop has something like 200 items in it. I like shopping at New Look so 24 items really isn’t going to cut it for me.
I haven’t attempted a checkout process yet so I can’t comment on that, but in terms of general usability and functionality it is a great leap forwards from what went before. Just a few more tweaks and it could be almost nearly perfect.

Thanks for your feedback – we’re really happy you like our newly re-launched app. We’re doing lots of work behind the scenes to improve it and will be making regular updates that will be coming soon so keep your eyes peeled.
Navigation need improvement
Users are often mistaking the top left 'back' button to navi them to the previous page but this actually takes them out of their search and back to the home screen. Very annoying, this needs to be fixed as users will exit app out of frustration. I've lost so many searches because instinctively I use the top left to to go back.
I also think that there is too much info on the home screen, it actually makes the rendering slow and jerky. The app is for shopping and doesn't have to have a separate mood board come magazine come star stylist section. Perhaps its place belongs solely on the website as it seems too cumbersome for the app itself.
Lastly, the images of the clothes are just not enough for customers rely on to make their purchases. I find it much easier to judge if an item will look good on me if I can see how it looks on someone else. A bag for example has no point of reference until it is seen on a model. An option to zoom into an high res photo is also essential as app's such as Mango and Zara offer this functionality.
Need to improve your app, or hire a new app developer
The new looks app is not user friendly at all... I do all my clothes shopping online and yet I have difficulty navigating around this app. So I wonder what people who aren’t very tech savvy manage to use this app. You only need to look at apps like ASOS, and Miss guided to know how much New look really need to up their game. Another shopping app that I absolutely hate is Top shop and get I find top shop to be more practical and user friendly then New looks...
Another thing that I want to mention and something that caused me to write this review is that I can’t view my previous order on this app. I’ve clicked on every button on the app to find my previous order and track my order but I just can’t do it on the app. If it’s a feature on the app that I can’t seem to find then you need to really improve it cuz if I’m having difficulty finding this feature then I can safely say many others are probably struggling just as much... don’t like shopping in new look for this very reason, as I purchase all my items online rather then in store...
