This app has a major bug, if you have items in the basket of the web version and you order something by the app apparently what’s meant to happen is when you go to the checkout those items from all your baskets online on phone or this app are meant to be listed and then you should have the opportunity to amend what you actually purchase before you agree to the purchase BUT this is not what happens. The other items are not listed and only the items you have in the app basket are on the basket and checkout BUT when you pay the other items are included in the total. In other words you have lost your ability to approve the purchase of the other items. Please fix this major bug. This has caught me out loads of times and it’s only because the money not coming out of my back as I have an account that I am not reporting you to the omnibusman.
Also it’s very annoying looking at some of the branded items as when you click to go to see a closeup nothing is displayed no details at all.
And the last big bug is you can remove any items from your favourites if they are no longer for sale there is just a blank icon that fills up your favourites list!!!!
I did make a complaint about theses issues and was very unhappy with the lack of willingness to fix the issues.

Have lost their way
Have been a customer of Next for years, but just recently been a bit disappointed with quality of some of my orders. It's usually the workmanship letting them down, but also ordered 2 brilliant black long sleeve tops and they developed holes after a short time. Notice they didn't appear in next catalogue. Also complained about sizing on leggings, they were good quality, just what I wanted but sizing skimpy. Did email about these but was told just to return them, but as I'd needed to wear them once I couldn't do so.

Not as good as other clothing retailers
The catalogue presentation is not easy to navigate. Clothing details are sometimes missing (eg fabric, care). Clearance section is ramshackle: no zoom, sizes not correctly listed, wrong pictures). I mostly use the app for buying my daughter’s school uniform but the dresses are no longer available and the trousers have sold out.
On this occasion, I had an error message on the front page (something about background not being available), although this didn’t seem to affect my browsing, and I had trouble adding card details.
I much prefer the M&S app.
