This app is so frustrating! It really needs sorting. I can't even do a simple product search as a completely different item comes up instead. Descriptions are vague and almost non existent in the Clearance section! I'd also like to be able to keep my items in the bag when not using the app or be able to make a wish list because as it is now, if you don't enter the app for a certain amount of time, all of your items have gone. I'd also like to choose whether to pay for my item in full during the checkout process, I don't always want to put things on my account. The choice would be nice! There have been a few improvements as of late though and I am happy that there is now a 'New In' section and that once you've viewed an item you can go back to where you were in the viewing list, rather than be taken back to the start. There are still improvements to be made, please sort it Next. Considering how much I spend in Next and how much profit they must make as a whole... You'd think they'd sort the app out as a matter of urgency, especially as 9/10 people are now shopping in this way.
Brilliant app but a couple of bugs!
I love the next app for ordering items that can go straight to my local store for me to pick up. It's easy to navigate around and user friendly. I'm glad they have updated a few things such as when you press back it now takes you to the same place rather than to top of list, brilliant update. However there are a few bugs. It crashes quite a lot (maybe it's when there are lots of people using it) and this can cause you to lose any items that are in your basket. Also it sometimes says they have an item in stock but when you go to check out it's suddenly out of stock which is a little annoying. Apart from these little bugs it's a brilliant app! I can order stuff straight from my phone and pick up in store when it's convenient. If they iron out the couple of bugs then would definitely be a 5 star!
The product descriptions in the clearance section are poor. For example I recently ordered a formal shirt and it described it as being in both regular and slim styles. When it came to selecting the product it simply listed the collar sizes. I ordered in the hope of a slim but a regular arrived. Grrr! Also the listing of sizes is erratic and odd. For example some womens clothes lists sizes as "shoe size 12" what woman wears a size 12 shoe but what it really means is dress size 12. Also with men's shoe sizes the listing of sizes is too numerous for example it will have in the list "size 11" "size 11/45" and "size 45" as if there are three different sizes when in practice they are all my size but I have go run three reports to search availability of my size. Another recent fault is that the app doesn't list any sizes to search on but instead only gives one option "new arrivals". Finally it regularly crashes when I click on an option that is out if stock and throws me out and clears my inbox. Overall very frustrating and annoying.
