Our symptom checker offers you access to trusted healthcare information when you’re not feeling 100% and want to know what’s wrong. Health issues can be worrying and it can be difficult to know what to do next about your health concern, but our symptom checker feature can answer your questions and concerns quickly.
Simply type your symptoms or health question into the app and it will help you make the right choice. Discover quickly if you need to be seen by a GP or at a hospital, or whether a visit to the local pharmacy or even staying at home might be the best option for you.

The NHS Online: 111 app is for anybody aged 16 or over living, working or passing through certain parts of North, Central and West London.

Told to use app but doesn’t work
I rang 111 and was advised to use the app. I downloaded app and entered all details but app didn’t ask right questions. I was told info will be sent to nhs and I’ll receive a call, then I got message that there is technical error and I need to call 111- So app was a waste of time!
Location not covered
Poor location coverage. Unable to use app. Most likely only limited to highly populated areas. Once again semi rural localities miss out on vital technological advances in healthcare, despite being a national tool
