Ratings and Reviews

Easily replaces paper books.

Can't fault this app - thorough and well thought out, with logical navigation throughout. The integration with google maps is very handy, and I particularly like that you can compare the range of grades in each crag.
It weighs nothing, and I can't see a reason I'd buy a hard guide book over it, especially given the cost of most of them (unless I knew I wouldn't be able to charge my phone. Unlikely.)

Couldn't quite bring myself knock off a star for not being iPhone 5 compatible, but I'm sure that will come in a future update:p

Excellent iPhone guide

I think this is by far & away one of the best iPhone based guides I've seen to date. Steve has done an excellent job. There are a couple of spelling errors (forgivable) but this is completely outweighed by the superb imagery, detailed & comprehensive route descriptions & interface with google maps.

This will work as an excellent tool to choose venues & also when you forget your 'actual' guide.

Well worth the £££ too.

Potentially a great, revolutionary product, sadly, feels more like a school project. A real shame as the issues are not with the concept, but the quality of the product. Photographs don't enlarge well they pixelate, photos have a lot of trees in them, which is unhelpful to the route marking. Descriptions of routes are not proof read, and are unreliable in terms of the grades given, on a number of occasions the grade is different within the pitch / overall grade listing? Lack of routes listed on the crag, means you'll always need a guide.
Hopefully this is the first step to a product that could be amazing, and spread to other areas.
