Terrible story. Don't waste your time/money!
I would give this 0 if I could. I never write reviews but, honestly, this app is terrible.
Firstly, the quality of the writing isn't good. I don't think the writer is a native speaker of English. Either that, or it's a poor translation. There are grammatical errors.
Although you get two to four options at the end of each page, if you pick one that the writer doesn't want you to, it will ignore your option. The first one is whether or not you will go to a club with your friend. I said to stay home and the next page said we went to the club anyway. After drinking, I selected the option to call a taxi, and yet the character drove off in the car. I said to remain in the car when the police stopped them, and instead they drove off. What's the point in giving options if the story proceeds regardless?!
I gave up after that! Poor writing. Poor story. And your answers make no difference to the progression. I'll stick with Episodes!
Poor
It's a good little idea but the two major flaws are that the writer clearly doesn't use English as his first language so the flow of the text is quite awkward and off putting and secondly, at least for the first 5 minutes which is all I played before being bored witless, the choices you make appear to make absolutely no difference at all to what happens next and on a couple of occasions the next page made no sense at all compared to which response I selected. Don't waste your money.
Quite fun, but poorly written
A lot of the reviews here are 1* based on the poor use of English throughout - it's true, is the language used doesn't make sense a lot of the time. However; you can always understand what they're talking about. The principal is basic, but I quite enjoyed the process, the storyline was fairly engaging and I don't think 99p is a bad price for this, given how much some other apps or add-ons cost.
