Now Healthcare Group has built a product which enables patients to conveniently request - and arrange delivery of - NHS repeat medication through our own internet pharmacy, completely free of charge.
Qualifying patients will receive a number of free video consultations with a GP, clinical nurse prescriber or specialist in managing chronic conditions.
The service is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via our app and desktop platform.

Not exactly much easier or less stress
I was under the impression (from your email confirming receipt of my request) that deliveries had to be signed for? That was the only reason I decided to try this service, someone is usually in, and as I have 2 very young children I wanted to be sure they wouldn’t get hold of my medication before me. So imagine my surprise when I found my prescription had arrived while I was out, sent without requiring a signature and sat on the floor behind the door for me to stand on, crushing some of the capsules inside. 🤦🏻♂️
The fact it has arrived at all is a relief, given I ordered it on 24th and was told it had been dispatched on the 30th. 10 days later still nothing and a quick check with you said it had been marked dispatched in error. I have since had to arrange alternative medication having already ordered this nearly 3 weeks in advance of running out, as being a recent kidney transplant recipient I can’t really afford to go without! Not really a great first impression. Prepared to give it another go, but it seems it would be easier and safer to just go to the pharmacy unfortunately, despite it being a once an hour bus ride away.

Takes away all the bother of visiting my surgery
Now patient is the easiest way to order my repeat prescriptions because everything is handled for me in the most convenient fashion. Firstly there’s no ringing the surgery, there’s no calling in to collect the prescription the following day, and there’s no waiting around in the pharmacy awaiting your medication, because it’s all taken care of by the new modern method of my now patient app. All I do is to click on which items I require, check my details, make a card payment from the details I’ve stored in the secure app device, and it’s dropped through my door by the postman in extra quick time. No stress, no worries, no bother at all, it’s all handled easily from my armchair using my phone, now how much easier could it be. I recommend this app to everyone, it’s the future of modern medication distribution, and it’s good to have the reassurance that behind the scenes it’s all happening for my ease and peace of mind. Now that’s what I call service.
I have been with Now Patient for a few months and I would highly recommend them to anyone, there’s just one or two things that niggle me and they are that there should be more items on my repeat and I have repeatedly mentioned this and it still hasn’t been solved, and there could be a space for me to put any comments to the pharmacy within my repeat prescription form, such as a reminder to them about my items that are not available on the repeat form to also be picked up from my GP, if this was resolved then I would definitely give you 5 stars instead of the 4 stars I have given, but you are the most proficient pharmacy I have had in many years and I feel safe using your service so a big thank you for that
