Great game, awful controls
The game is amazing, I am really enjoying it but, the controls are just horrible. I can’t make the character move the way I want for more than 5 seconds, it either stops moving or moves opposite direction. Also it uses items with out me pressing any buttons... If that gets fixed, it’s definitely a 5 stars game
Great
This game is one of the best on iOS, don’t listen to the brain dead that can’t figure stuff out so give it less than five stars, it’s a truly great and original game, lots of fun, good design, good graphics, smooth polished bug free and doesn’t crash, and you can play whenever you want, I bought this when it originally came out, played it and couldn’t get far so I was looking for something to play a few days ago and remembered this and downloaded it, and I’m glad I did such a joy to play so few titles these days are enjoyable, and you can play whenever you want, be nice to see a second in the series as this is quite old now,but great work devs and keep it up.
A perfect Zelda-lite in your hand
As many have mentioned, Oceanhorn is basically Zelda-lite - you go on a quest to save the world collecting items you can use to access more and more places along the way.
The game is between 5 and 8 hours long depending on how you play. The environments are lush and well-detailed. The soundtrack is catchy too - my son was humming along as I was playing. The story itself is a little simplistic and, like Link, you are a silent protagonist.
The touch controls work great, I never thought to switch out for an MFI controller. I bought this on sale for £3.99, but even at full price this is a game well-worth your money.
