Cracking little game
I have only recently discovered this and it’s a lovely little game, almost a criss between a golf and a puzzle game. There are loads of courses and I really like the seasonal courses like the Halloween and the winter wonderland courses.
What would make it more challenging would be a daily online challenge with a league table. Like the way mini metro does it.
Well worth the money.
It’s OK
OK Golf is very nearly great but for a few annoyances, the principle being the amount of time players are made to wait for the power shot to settle. Now I’m fairly early on in the game so this may change as you advance but to be honest I really feel like I’m wasting my time waiting for a process which seems to have no practical purpose and prevents me from getting on with the game. It’s kind of a fun killer.
A bit meh
It’s a very pretty game, but it’s quite dull and slow. I get that it’s a golf game - it’s not meant to be high-octane - but it’s just a bit frustrating and not that rewarding.
Controls are a little fiddly at times too, easy to do wrong and not that quick to respond.
