Pack like a pro

I absolutely love this app. I honestly cannot think of any improvements. I use this for all my packing lists...from long trips away to a quick overnight stay. The design is sleek and professional looking but also fun with the option to add emojis. I love the existing packing suggestions (I always find something I would have forgotten myself) and that you can just add a quick item whilst out and about before you forget. It’s great to be able to make and keep multiple lists. I would recommend this to anyone...a frequent packer or just for the odd trip.

Great potential but very basic flaws

This app looked so good that within a few mins of trying it out I purchased it- and really wish I didn’t!

The main features I liked it being able to set quantities of items- as we travel a lot and I pack all the kids’ clothes I found this really useful for quantity of vests, socks, tops, leggings etc. And having a ‘to pack’ and ‘to do’ side by side.

However one very basic flaw is that once you check off an item it stays in its position rather than moving to the bottom of the list- this is super annoying and even my iPhone Notes app moves things down as they get done- it makes using the app really inefficient if you have long lists of things to scroll through to check if you’re missing anything!

The category & moving things around is really quite inefficient- you can’t make sub-lists under lists which is a bit daft. So for eg. If I put my kid’s name as a category, I can’t make one bullet point ‘clothes’ and have sub-points for each item- I have to make each clothing item a bullet point under the child’s name- again, very basic function in my Notes app!

So conclusion is- I’m going to try and use this for our upcoming trip in 2days as I’ve paid for it, but I can’t see myself coming back to this app again when it can’t even do basic things the iPhone Notes app does as standard 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thanks for giving our app a try!
By reading your comments I think our app can solve most of your needs, you probably need to spend some more time with it.

Regarding items going to the bottom:
Underneath the packing list name, there's two buttons: "All items" and "Pending items".
If you tap on "Pending items" whenever you check an item it will disappear from your list and you will only see your remaining items. If you tap again "All items" you'll see everything.

Regarding sublists:
How about creating different list with similar titles?
Trip 1 - Mine
Trip 1 - Kid 1
Trip 1 - Kid 2

We believe our app is quite powerful and save a lot of time compared to Notes for example, but it takes some time to build your lists so that later you can reuse them fast and easy.

Categories within Categories not possible

This app has lots of promise, it looks great and is easy to use, except for one key missing feature that means I won’t use it - the ability to have categories within categories.

I want to create a family packing list, with the top level categories being each person in the house, then sub-categories below each one such as those in the suggested lists eg Clothes, Toiletries, etc. I can’t see a way of doing this at the moment.

I would also like to be able to select items from the suggested lists (because they are useful) and have them go into a designated custom category, rather than a new top level one.
