Best note taking app

When you have an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, all that's missing is a great note making app. I tried Microsoft One Note after getting the most I could from the native notes app. One Note was terrible. I had used this app before, but it's improved so much since. Back then it used to be mainly for making art. Now they've applied beautiful calligraphy and pens to making notes and easily making straight lines and diagrams. It's far more beautiful and easier to use than any other note taking app out there. Your writing will look great. As opposed to thin and scratchy as with other note apps. You'll also be able to navigate your notes nicely. Search would be a nice feature, as would having subsections within a notebook.

Must-have app

The original issue was by far my favourite freehand drawing app, beautiful flowing lines that thickened the faster you swept a stylus across the surface, no frills, no fill or choice of pens unless you paid for them. Cute little moleskine-style notebooks to hold your drawings. For some reason the notebooks have gone, and I had a moment's panic thinking you couldn't draw a freehand circle without it being turned into a geometrically perfect circle (I was wrong, that's just an option if you want it, and I wonder if the bad reviews are from other people who made the same mistake). It's still great to draw with, and the new solid fill and watercolour effects just add to the possibilities. There is also an online community but unfortunately it's choked up with bad amateur artworks, I gave up on that.

Watch out! Most reviews are for different app!!

It seems totally unfair that paper 53 can keep all their 4 and 5 star reviews which they got for the original, lovely, and completely different iPad art app before Sept 2015, and claim them as relating to this clunky, messy iPhone note app which bears little resemblance. If they removed all reviews for the award-winning original (yes guys you won awards, cos it was great, so why did you scrap it??) then this new note app would be lucky to be left with one star. No one likes it. Everyone loved the original. I really don't understand why they can't just reinstate the old iPad app for us - (keep struggling to get this phone note thing right if you want to, whatever) but give us the lovely art one back, we paid for it after all, and you stole it.
