Has potential but 70% of updates are hours behind
Overall, this app has the potential to be great and offer parents a brilliant way to stay informed about their children. My biggest grumble, however, is that most of the updates come through hours after the nursery has posted them. For example, On my son’s first day, we didn’t receive an update until after we’d collected him (late afternoon), even though the nursery had posted the updated in the morning. This is a crucial glitch that needs fixing.
Hello, thank you for reviewing ParentZone. The events are sent to the ParentZone timeline as soon as they are published by a nursery staff member. They may have been added throughout the day but only published later on, which is why you are experiencing the delay.

Basic at best
What’s the point of an APP if there is no option to have a push notification. Only email notification exists and even that doesn’t always work. Poor layout, can’t zoom in and out of photos, logged in tonight to find two new bits of useful info but received know emails to tell me, a push notification would have been so helpful. At least my daughters nursery are trying to connect with parents in a more convenient and up to date method, but there are better systems (ParentMail).

The reason you will not be able to see the invoices/bills is that your nursery has your wife set up as the bill payer. If you wish to see the finance section, please speak to your nursery.
You can turn push notifications on within your profile > notification settings.
You should be able to take a screenshot of the photos within the gallery by holding the home button and lock button at the same time.
We are aware that there is room for improvement on the user interface and the experience of the app and we are working towards future release which will improve this.

Good idea, but can’t log on
I logged in once on the app on my phone And though- great stuff, this will be a helpful app! Now it keeps logging me out and brings me to a screen where I can select my account or other accounts and when I type in password thing happens... only way I got past this was by reinstalling app and the same happened after time out. I mean- this is app on my phone... why do I need to type password in constantly? But yeah, will be using browser instead of the app
Hi there, thank you for getting in touch. I understand your frustration. We've made a bit of a temporary fix for this. You can set your preferred session timeout period, the maximum is 30 days. This means you will only have to log in once a month. It's not exactly what you've asked for but should help you out for now.
Log in to ParentZone
Click on your own name so that you see your profile page
Scroll right to the bottom until you see the 'Session Timeout' box
Use the drop down to select the 30 Day timeframe
This automatically saves - and should make your life a bit easier!
I just have to point out that there are security implications of not logging out. We'd like you to make sure that you have some form of lock on your device so that if your phone was to fall into the wrong hands your child's data would not be accessible.
