I do like this app but it can be incredibly frustrating. It is supposed to make things quick and usually it does but when I am in a hurry and it suddenly asks me to log in again it drives me mad! The last time I wrote about this I was told that, for security reasons, if I have not used the app for a while I would need to log in again. Yesterday I was asked to log in when I had just used the app less than 24 hours previously! Infuriating!! Tesco - you really need to get this sorted.
When this works it is quick and easy but sometimes it fails. It doesn't always work at the checkout and on two occasions when I've gone to use it it has asked for my password to log in again. When there is a queue behind you this is unacceptable not only to me but also to the others waiting. If you have no other payment method with you then you are stuck. Also, vouchers can't always be used. I'll still use it but will carry a backup payment method.

No iPhone X compatibility
Disappointed that for an app clearly aimed at those who are more inclined to use technology and digital payment methods that this app isn’t integrated with iPhone X properly meaning black borders at the top and bottom and the “help” button partially obscured. Haven’t used the app to pay yet, though setup was simple enough - the reason i got it was so I don’t have to scan my clubcard key fob and then pay - I just do it all in one with this. Will update the review once I use it.
Another problem is that you can’t give multiple cards in the app a “name”. I have a joint account card and my personal one and would like to be able to name them so when choosing which one to pay with it is easier than needing to know which card number is which card.
Poorly executed app for one being pushed as a digital solution.

Why not include my Clubcard barcode? I’m sure there is a reason for it, but it seems crazy that I have to use two separate Tesco apps to make a purchase with you?! One to buy, one to add points. Please combine them. Or even easier, add my points automatically with each purchase via pay +. How hard could it be to implement?
