Needs work

Photo 365 is a nice idea. It is a nice looking app and has been well designed for the most part. I like the fact you can choose to have one photo a day, or several photos. It's nice to have the choice.

However, it's not without its problems. In no particular order:

1) Despite three updates so far, there is still no way to set the first day of the week. The app defaults to Monday as the first day and there is no option to change it. (I need to display Sunday as the first day).

2) When browsing photos, the status bar on the bottom cuts off the base of the photo. This is clumsy; the status bar should automatically hide when not needed. I know you can scroll up but it's not ideal.

3) Landscape shots are not adequately catered for as the app does not have landscape support. You can take landscape shots, but you cannot view them in landscape orientation. This seems like an oversight for an app that is based solely on taking photos.

4) When viewing photos in fullscreen mode, it resizes to show the entire photo, resulting in black bars on the top and bottom of the screen. There should be an option to resize to fit the entire screen.

In summary, if you can live with those limitations, then you will no doubt be very happy with Photo 365. Personally, I think it lacks polish at the moment; it needs refining and attention to detail to become a truly great app.

A clever little app!

Now if only I had this app a few years ago when I attempts my first 365+1 project!
A very clever idea, well executed and seamless integration with all social media sites including flickr! Add you photos to flickr and put them into groups for feedback or your very own 365 project! Handy calendar view let's you see if you've missed any days too! Not only that it give you reminders to take photos! GREAT IDEA!
Only downside I can see so far is that you cannot take HDR shots 'in app' but you can take them out of app then import them.
I would recommend to any budding 365'er!! ;)

Photo 365 Review- in love 😍

Adore the idea and the layout of the app, just wish it was backed up in some way because I lost a years worth of work in November because I had to wipe my iPod 😒 perhaps slightly on the expensive side but worth it when you have all your memories to look back on!
Note for improvement also would be if perhaps if you had more than one photo per day then a bit like the 'pic collage' app it kind of throws them into one photo on the main photo page? Just a thought. Anyway love the app an updates are always good- keep it up!
