Description
PhotoConvert is fantastic tool to convert and rename thousands of images and photos at lightning fast speed. It offers features like image format conversion between JPEG, JPEG2000, TIFF, PNG, GIF, BMP, WebP and more formats. Supports conversion for RAW images types of all DSLR cameras. Rename set of images by adding prefix, suffix and number sequence. In addition PhotoConvert preserves metadata properties (EXIF, RAW, TIFF, etc.), Creation and modification date and time. It also maintains file-folder structural hierarchy in target folder.

1) Add or Drop images/folders.
2) Select desire options.
3) Choose target folder and Convert/Convert All.
◆ CONVERSION: Image format conversion from most of all supported source image types into JPEG, JPEG2000, PNG, TIFF, WebP, PDF, PSD, GIF, TGA, EXR, WebP and BMP. You can adjust quality for JPEG and JPEG2000 images. Lower the quality for higher image compression to get smaller file size.
◆ RENAME: Give new names to your photos. Rename by giving entire new filename or add prefix-suffix to the original filenames. Flexible choice allows adding number sequence at start or end of the filename, varying starting digit and number of leading zeros.
◆ Finder like sorting of images into the list. Click on Image File Path or Size(Pixel) column header to sort respectively.
◆ Direct drag and drop out selected items from file list into target folder in Finder to get your resized images.
◆ Preferences option to maintain source folder structure hierarchy at destination.
◆ Preserves source image metadata properties like, EXIF, TIFF, GPS, RAW etc.
◆ Preferences option preserve source image Creation and Modification date.
◆ Preferences option to set destination folder. It set forever.. even after relaunch.

Absolutely BRILLIANT
Following the demise of Apple’s APERTURE, I had to export all 53,000 images I had in there to TIFF format, as I did not want to lose any quality, before re-organising my images & re-importing into Lightroom. Unfortunately that resulted in a image extract of over 3.5Tb. I’ve saved these to an external drive.
I then wanted to convert the TIFF files to a low-compression JPEG so that I could consoludate all the images I had in Aperture into a single PHOTOS library, all separated by year, month, event & a sequence number for every images based on folder name…
I look all over the web & chose PHOTOCONVERT to convert my TIFF files in BATCH & to create a destination folder hierarchy which was exactly the same, but with images converted to JPEG. I tested it on a few folders first & it was really simple to use & worked very quickly. Then, I threw caution to the wind & put all 53,000 folders& images through the converter & believe it or not, it manages tham ALL without missing a beat - naturally this took fo few hours on my MAC.
I am absolutely delighted: had I had to expport from Aperture, it would have taken me over 5 days!
I can’t recommend this piece of software enough: you guys have done a brilliant job. THANK YOU.
Huge time saver
With Google suggesting websites now use the .webp image format to improve a websites performance, I found this app invaluable and a huge time saver, it will convert images to .webp in no time at all.
10 out of 10 for me, great little app that I use all the time as a website designer and SEO and am happy to pay for it and support the developer, do yoursel a favour, swerve the free apps and buy this app
Great application
It is paid yes, but the people that made this application defo deserves all the pennies for it. I use it to convert my raw files from my Nikon DSLR to jpeg, and its great.
There is no easier than this add, open the file you want or an entire folder, select the file you want to convert to the quality and boom done
