Warning: this game may hold residues of macadamia nuts and gluten.
A collection of (mostly) fun minigames.
Best is On-Off, where you have to collect only suns, then take a trip backwards through the same level and collect only moons. Rapid planning is required to get all the suns while preparing a route that will let you get all the moons.
Cursed is also good, a simple scrolling jump game done well.
Classic I found confusing and fiddly: the objective wasn't very clear, what made you fail wasn't very clear, and the jump/shoot buttons were too easy to fat-finger, a real problem when shooting and jumping goes towards the same direction.
Presentation is very professional indeed: one in a hundred games are this good. Polish is more like a console game than an App Store game.
The best bit I've saved til last: levels designed by level designers. Each minigame randomly assembles a course from a bank of tiny levels each designed by a real person and containing actual gameplay and requiring actual strategy. There are enough levels that you won't get bored playing the same ones over and over, and some take quite a few runs' practice to get a perfect score.
Very, very much worth your dollar.
It's a perfect iPhone game, simple yet fun and very addictive. The visual and audio are very unique, with some great nods to gaming days gone by.
The developers have added quite a few new games modes since it was released. Some are better than others in all honesty, but it's great to see that developers are committed to this app.
The only negative point I can make is that the controls can seem a little awkward at first thanks to the iPhone touchscreen. They are simple enough however and can be repositioned so with a little tweaking and practice it's not really a problem.
Highly recommended. It's a "just one more go" game.
This gem of a game brings back memories of those old school gaming. It's very addictive and there are many achievements to try and get making this game last a while. I'd recommend this to anyone. It was worth the money :D
