What's New in Version 1.3.1
Minor bug fixes.
Addictive for adults, can get boring for kids
I got this game for my 5 year old son, who has the actual Playmobil pirate ship & island.
He loved it, and will still occasional play, but now gets extremely bored & frustrated that it takes so long to get new land. And at the fact that, due to the amount of land already 'purchased', along with the tasks to-do, there is hardly anything to do - other than wait, and spend days earning money to buy more land.
A very addictive game indeed, for adults, rather than the children it's aimed a t - although, I get frustrated at all the waiting, & the 'expense' too!
Also, getting rid of the adverts for gems, was annoying. It was a great way to build up some gems on the side, as it were.
Would still recommend though. But your kids WILL get bored and frustrated, eventually.
Gets expensive to progress
A really fun game but be prepared, as you go up the levels things cost more 'coins' (not real ones, silly) and take more time to complete. This means you need to be out pirating more, unless your ship suffers in one of the all-too-frequent raids on your harbour/s, in which case you have to repair it and buy/build more defences.
Thankfully, recent upgrades have added more coin earning opportunities for your crew. Of course, if you don't mind parting with real coins you could always buy your way up the levels/achievements ladder.
Best child's first game
Got this for my 5 year old son who is playmobil mad. It is great as a starter game and he loves doing all the missions, I love the fact it's taught him patience in waiting for things. The only complaint I have is the "expand land 3 times" mission as he's done it several times but doesn't recognise it or clear the mission but apart from that it's a brilliant game.
