Minor content updates
Shared balance is totally wrong & customer service don't care!
Whilst Pockit itself is fantastic & ive recommended it to many people, the app is - on a shared account - a complete waste of time.
I set up the shared account & added a card in my husbands name. If you log into the app as me, it's great - shows every transaction & an almost up-to-the-minute balance. Far better than any bank, which can sometimes take days to update the balance & therefore result in overspend.
However, if my husband logs in, the balance it shows *only accounts for his transactions*. Therefore the balance is COMPLETELY & permanently wrong. So say we had £200 in the account. He spends £100 & I spend £100. My app will show £200 - £100 - £100, balance therefore £0. I know not to spend any more.
On his, it will show £200 - £100, balance therefore £100! Which is completely wrong.
Customer service opinion? Tough s***.
