PolyFauna is an experimental collaboration between us (Radiohead) & Universal Everything, born out of The King of Limbs sessions and using the imagery and the sounds from the song Bloom.
It comes from an interest in early computer life-experiments and the imagined creatures of our subconscious.
Your screen is the window into an evolving world.
Move around to look around.
You can follow the red dot.
You can wear headphones.
You can get some pretty strange looks on the train.

Gyroscope bug fix
It's just ok ... Computer
After reading the reviews I was expecting something more impressive. Visually It reminds me of the 90s platform game Another world. It's atmospheric sure but it lacks any real depth. After a minute or so it becomes fairly monotonous. I'm a fan of radiohead but radiohead fans and their complete lack of objectivity when it comes to anything radiohead release, really annoys me. This app is ok and it's ok to be ok. Let's not get carried away. My advice would be download the another world app and listen to king of limbs album.
where does the share button send your share to
I get the impression that you could screen save and share eg on Facebook but that doesn't seem to happen-no snapshot to camera roll-nothing-are all the pics being sent directly to Thom?
Tripp for 2 mins but won't use again even after following the dot for a while into different spaces....
Who are they trying to kid, eh?
Such a pity when your favourite popular beat combo goes from being brilliantly creative & inventive to so bletheringly doolally that, even as an otherwise obsessive completionist collector, you find yourself avoiding their new output like the plague.
Nonetheless, I hoped there might be something of merit here, being more than just audio, so I've given it a go... I guess this might appeal to some, but frankly it's lost on me.
I couldn't hear anything of any musical worth here.
The visuals are basic & drearily unattractive - you don't exactly float like a feather in a beautiful world.
Interactively, it's extremely lacking & close to unplayable. I found myself asking what the hell am I doing here?
I don't belong here.
