Ratings and Reviews
I have bought all the iPad TelePrompter apps and none of them can touch this. My Bluetooth keyboard works perfectly and you can assign keys for specific controls. It's clear and smooth and does everything it claims to do. Very happy!
Where is 6 stars?
I don't do reviews BUT this is sensational. Free remote from iPhone, brilliant visual editing of settings, I cannot say more. It does exactly what is says on the screen
this app is pretty useful. I use it as a lyrics prompter, mostly in the rehearsal room. I particularly like the ability to swipe to the desired part with your finger (which strangely is not possible with most of the other prompter apps I have tried) and grouping songs together, though it falls short of a proper support for 'sets', lacking ways to control the running order per se.
Sadly, apart from this shortcoming, there are a few additional niggles that makes its use less than stellar in a pressured environment such as a live gig... why should jumping from one script to the next require access to the prompter and be seemingly impossible to perform from an ipod remote I will never know - it seems ill thought, that's the purpose of a remote isn't it?
There is also an issue with the scrolling text on the remote (only tested with an ipod however), in that the text can become out of sync with the prompter. Worst, this can lead to the latter part of the script unreachable using the remote, even using the prompter until the remote is disconnected, not good.
Overall it is reasonably priced, and until I discover an app better suited to my needs, I consider it a worthy investment. I hope that some of the aspects raised above will be addressed in due time though. In the meantime, the search for the ultimate prompter continues for me...
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
